Our tasting spoon has a smaller bowl, that is great for stirring and tasting. This long spoon can reach the bottom of jars and pitchers for easier stirring.
All of our products are sealed with our spoon conditioner, made from mineral oil and beeswax.
Black Walnut: This tasting spoon is hand carved from black walnut wood, and sanded to a polished finish. Measures 12 inches long and 1 inch wide.
Maple Spoon: This tasting spoon is hand carved from solid maple wood, and sanded to a polished finish. Measures 12 inches long and 2 inches wide.
Care: Our products are made to last a lifetime when properly cared for. Wooden utensils should never be placed in the dishwasher or soaked in the sink. Please always hand wash and dry your wooden utensils. For best use, oil your wooden utensils on a regular basis to expel cooking oils and avoid cracking. When oiling you will want to use a non perishable oil like mineral oil, fractionated coconut oil, or butcher block conditioner.
Cut and carved from traditional hard woods. No dyes or stains are used. What you see is the natural beauty and grain of the organic material. Each item is hand carved with traditional carving tools, sanded to a polished finish, and sealed with mineral oil and beeswax.
