About the Scents:

• Autumn Ethereal hangs between the last warmth of summer and the first clear whisper of fall. It is the smell of orchard air, weathered barns, wool coats, and fields going quiet just before dusk. Green cognac and orchard apple open with the bright sweetness of the first cider press. Sweet grass and tobacco leaf carry the fragrance into the field, while violet leaf, lavender, Javan vetiver, oakwood, and lichen settle into a cool, resinous woodland warmth.

• Deep Slumber Mountain is our chypre: a moss-covered forest composition born from a hike through the Blue Ridge Mountains and the discovery of wild-growing Fraser fir in the rainforest habitats of those mountains. This rare and threatened tree is honored here in conifer, resin, leaf litter, and deep earth. Cold mountain air opens into old-growth conifer, incense cedar, and pine tar. Lichen, oakmoss, leaf litter, and dark vetiver pull the fragrance down into the forest floor, while fir, yuzu, and green resin keep a thread of light moving through the canopy.

• Passage of Darkness is an elixir imagined from folklore, born in rum-soaked taverns where spice merchants traded stories under lantern light on islands warmed by ocean air. It is shadow and flame, mystery and revelation. Dark comes the night, cloaked in spice, leather, and smoke. Grapefruit peel and citron cut sharply through the dusk before giving way to green and red cedar, amyris, bay leaf, and a rare spice accord. As the night matures, Haitian vetiver, myrrh, and dark patchouli unfurl. Cocoa and tonka bean remain on the skin like the last light in a locked room.

• Phantasm is not merely worn—it haunts. A dark, enigmatic forest fragrance born of smoke, soil, and shadow, it asks you to wander deeper into the trees and lose the clean edge of the familiar. Wormwood and sacred black sage open the veil, bitter, green, and faintly hallucinatory. Davana and Mexican tuberose bring an intoxicating bloom, while birch tar, cedar ash, dark patchouli, labdanum, frankincense, and American juniper leaf summon the season in smoke and resin.
