A stimulating and strengthening digestive tonic, rich in the minerals and vitamins that our bodies crave post-winter. The high quercetin content in nettles, in addition to bee pollen make it ideal for building tolerance to seasonal allergies, before they start. The sour flavor is especially favored in the spring, for it stimulates the liver and helps aids in detoxification and digestion.
Uses:
Add a splash to a glass of warm water first thing in the morning or before a meal, to enhance digestion. Massage into salad greens with olive oil and a pinch of salt to help open up the salad greens, making them easier to digest and increasing bioavailability of nutrients.
