This class is fun for all levels, no dyeing experience necessary!
In this intro class, you’ll learn the basics behind dyeing using nature - both foraged and farmed. This class is designed to provide you with a broad overview, and all the necessary information to continue the adventure of natural dyeing on your own! We’ll dye our own bandanas in the back yard using natural pigments from foraged plants and kitchen scraps like turmeric, avocado skins, and onion. We will provide a bandana to dye, and you are also welcome to bring 1 small item (such as socks, t-shirt, or a hand towel) to dye at the workshop. You’ll leave with a color selection of natural textiles, as well as info about how to repeat the process at home!
Snacks and coffee provided, and participants will receive 10% off the shop the morning of the workshop.
Class is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am, please arrive 5-10 minutes early. Bring your enthusiasm, and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty!
Workshops are limited to 8 people.

If you cancel fewer than 7 calendar days before the event, we cannot offer a refund or credit; however, tickets are transferable and you are welcome to send someone else in your place.
