Sometimes called sabra silk or cactus silk, the agave fibers are spun to produce a durable silk with a natural sheen to it. This carpet was handwoven in the traditional Berber fashion using hand-dyed fibers from the agave plant.
Hand selected from a weavers cooperative in Fes, this beautiful textile can be hung on the wall, thrown across the foot of your bed, or used the old fashion way — as a carpet!
Because this is a hand woven textile, there may be some small anomalies. These are not imperfections, but rather a part of its character and beauty. This rug measures approximately 44” wide x 72” tall, or 3.6’ x 6’.
Creases will fall out with use. Spot clean only.
